13 cars made the trek north to 141 Speedway in support of the IRA 410 sprints. Brian Strane Jr. would once again edge out Nick Petska and Mike Neau for quick time honors and establishing a new qualifying track record there at 12.639. The ILS visited Night 2 of the inaugural Fall Classic at Wilmot Raceway. Mike Neau set quick time of the night while John Kirk picked up Allstar Performance Heat 1 and Mark Heinert grabbed Rod End Supply Heat 2. The 6 car feature invert saw Mark Heinert lead the field to green only to spin in front of the field in turn 4 on the opening lap. The season concluded on Saturday, September 28th at the Plymouth Dirt Track as part of the Wisconsin Sprint Car Championships where 5 champions were crowned across the IRA Lightning Sprints, Wisconsin wingLESS Sprints, IRA Bumper to Bumper Outlaw Sprints, and the MSA 360 Sprints. Memorial Day Weekend has been called one of racing’s greatest weekends and with a huge slate of big races, 2021 was no different. But come Sunday night, all eyes were on 141 Speedway in Francis Creek, Wisconsin. All three IRA divisions were in the house on what turned out to be a thrilling night. The last time the IRA 410 Sprint cars took to the Wilmot Raceway in August Mike Reinke not only set a new track record in qualifying, but he shattered the old one in the process!
